As a Security Officer with DSI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and clients. Your duties will include observing, correcting, and reporting hazards to promote safety, as well as following all DSI and client requirements, including site-specific post instructions. You will participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual. Professional interaction with clients, visitors, employees, and the public is expected at all times. This role also requires routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
This position requires strong customer service skills, effective written and oral communication abilities, and basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
Pre-employment requirements:
- Unarmed Security Officers must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Armed Security Officers must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Concealed Carry Permit.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- All applicants must have reliable transportation and communication and be able to successfully pass required background checks and drug screenings.
