Job Skills / Requirements
- Provide leadership, training and assistance of on-site specific duties and responsibilities to officers.
- Ensuring the presence of security officers on site and performing properly.
- Conduct uniform inspections, inspect security checkpoints, patrol logs and post condition evaluations.
- Disperse required equipment and reporting forms to on duty officers on post and retrieve as needed.
- Review activity reports, emergency reports, timesheet logs and other paperwork submitted by on duty officers.
- Ensure that post orders are displayed and available on site for assigned officer.
- Ensure that the on duty officer records and reports all emergencies.
- Provide W/C information necessary to update the company's guard monitoring system and follow daily instructions as given by W/C or higher management. Brief relieving supervisor of occurrences during shift (i.e. there was a flood at 2110 W. Deal St.)
- Complete City of Chicago Remote Vehicular Supervisory Activity Report and vehicle inspection report.
- Disseminate company notices such as important notifications or training courses.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a timely manner any changes or recommendations that could have impact on our service image or brand.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment and to solve problems with a sense of urgency.
- Must be least at 25 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license with an adequate driving history
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree (preferred)
- 20 Hours Unarmed Basic Training Certificate
- Permanent Employment Registration Card (PERC Card)
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisor experience
- Law enforcement or military experience (preferred)
