JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a hands-on, creative, and collaborative position on the UX team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has well-rounded user experience, web design, 3D and communication skills. This position reports to the Executive Director, Digital.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Serve as a UX /UI Lead for digital media projects (websites, landing pages, apps, web application, experiential projects, etc)
Experience in an agency setting performing UX/UI design
Create interactive wireframes/prototypes for digital projects, including: AR/VR experiences, websites, web apps and mobile apps
Create user stories, usage cases and user flows for interactive experiences
Develop detailed deliverables that effectively communicate designs to the development team
Review audience segmentation, KPIs, business objectives and marry that with data flow and user interaction design. Create user-centered designs by considering customer feedback and usability findings
Collaborate and facilitate website experience working sessions with clients during the Discovery Phase of digital projects
Must be willing to accept feedback from both internal and external stakeholders and maintain flexibility throughout the project
Iterate on ideas from rough concepts to detailed prototypes to final UI
Stay up-to-date on the industry’s latest trends and technologies
Proficient written and verbal communication skills with an ability to respectfully negotiate and manage internal and client expectations
Strong leadership, collaborative and communication skills
Financial management and budgeting of projects including capability in predicting and forecasting both workload and costs
Manage the UX team and help determine processes and workflow


Expectations

Work with development resources to ensure consistency and quality through launch
Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
Experience in UX software, including Sketch and Invision
Experience conducting user research and usability testing and creating support materials and tools required for the sessions
Ability to lead and mentor other agency personnel when it comes to all things UX and UI
Set a high standard for internal UX best practices
Coordinate resource allocation with the Development Director and Associate Creative Directors
Experience in 3D interactive and larger experience projects
Ability to collaborate with Art Directors and Writers on digital/interactive design best practices
People management experience is a definite plus
