Onancock VA 23430

As an Armed Security Officer Access Control in Onancock, VA, you will serve and safeguard our client, staff, visitors, and building. As an Access Control Officer supporting a large medical facility in Onancock, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access through verifying identity, documenting, providing them a visitors badge and retrieving the badge when they are leaving, and maintain a professional presence and attitude that helps deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedules available:

FT

12AM - 8AM Sun - Thurs

12AM - 8AM Fri, Sat, and 4PM - 12AM Mon, Tues

PT

8AM - 4PM Mon and Tues

Must be DCJS ARMED certified

Duties include:

Access control to the medical facility.

Patrolling the facility 

Checking in all visitors

Communicating with various staff on visitors and/or issues occurring 

Other duties as assigned by Account Manager and/or our client

Requirements•

This job requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, grasping, walking, running, carrying and climbing. Requires infrequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.

Must have or be able to get CPR/AED certified

Must have DCJS Armed License

Will have an extensive background check completed on them prior to starting work

Must be able to pass a drug test and are subject to random screenings per client's request

Must be willing to get baton certified

Must be at least 25 years of age•

Authorized to work in the United States•

High School Diploma or Equivalent•

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check as a condition of employment•
