Sandston VA 23150

As a Security Officer FT for manufacturing facility in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard our client, staff, visitors, and building. As an Access Control Officer supporting a manufacturing facility in Sandston, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access through verifying identity, documenting, and contacting employee they are there to see, providing them a visitors badge and retrieving the badge when they are leaving, and maintain a professional presence and attitude that helps deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

FT (days vary Monday - Sunday)

Day shift

7am - 3pm

Mid-Shift

3pm - 11pm

Night Shift

11pm - 7am

Duties include:

Provide access control at entrance gate. Checking ID to verify identity. Complete entry log for every person entering the facility. Then checking them out when leaving the facility.

Provide vehicle inspections prior to allowing entry, checking the interior, truck, underside, and under the hood. For trucks check the bed and/or inside the trailer.

Provide patrols of facilities to ensure the site and personnel are safe at all times.

Qualifications include:

Must be able to use a computer for daily logs, incident reports, entry reports, etc.

Must have effective verbal and written communication skills

Must have outstanding customer service skills

Must be able to pass physical fitness test.

Must have reliable transportation

Must be able to walk up to a 12-hour shift
