Job Skills / Requirements

Job Responsibilities: The Accounting assistant participates in all aspects of the accounting functions.

-Assist in facilitating the processing of a bi-weekly payroll.
-Assist the Accounting department in areas of payables, and benefits.

- Reviewal  of new hire packets
-Assist with preparation of Accounts Payable for garnishments and benefits.
- Assistance in benefit management
-Facilitates distribution of pay checks to correct departments.
-Responsible for maintaining the filing system.
-Special assignments as designated

Position Requirements: One or more years accounting software preferred. Proficient computer skills with a concentration in Excel. Ability to multi-task. Strict attention to detail required. Good organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet assigned deadlines. Ability to prioritize job duties. Strict adherence to confidentiality. Willingness to learn new skills and take on progressively more difficult task. Commitment to the objectives of the department and the company.
