Overview

Catholic Charities of Louisville is the social-service arm of the Archdiocese of Louisville. We provide help and create hope for the poor and vulnerable through a wide range of programs, assisting clients of all races, backgrounds and beliefs. 

The Youth Needs Program Coordinator (YNPC) operates within the Migration and Refugee Services Department. The YNPC will lead the Youth Needs Assessment for youth 14-24. The purpose of this assessment is to gather information on what the specific needs of refugee and immigrant youth are so that more efficient and targeted services can be provided by youth-serving organizations in Louisville. They will coordinate with all participating organizations to keep the project on schedule. They will work directly with the team leads to ensure each organization has the resources they need and are completing the assessments and tasks as agreed upon in the service plan and will coordinate and lead regular meetings between all partnering agencies. They will also work closely with the data analyst to make sure the data is being collected correctly and assist with any additional needs or resources the data analyst needs.

SALARY: $50,000

Job Skills / Requirements

Essential Duties and Tasks:

  1. Complete necessary research and collaborate with the partnering agencies to build a youth needs assessment questionnaire
  2. Lead regular team meetings between all partnering agencies
  3. Coordinate with leads from each partnering organization to ensure the project stays on schedule
  4. Provide necessary resources and guidance to partnering organizations so they can complete assessments and tasks as agreed upon in the service plan
  5. Coordinate with the data analyst to ensure quality data collection and reporting
  6. Complete necessary progress reports as required by the grant funder
  7. Coordinate with partners to build suggested action items related to the data analysis
  8. Other duties as assigned by the Youth Programs Manager

Education Requirements (Any)

BA or BS
Bachelors degree in a social services field is preferred. An Associates degree is required.

Additional Information / Benefits

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Degree in Education, Social Work, Data Analytics, or related field is preferred
  • 2 years of relevant work experience is required
  • 1 year of supervisory experience is required
  • Fluency in Spanish, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, Dari and/or Pashto is a plus
  • Cultural competency and an intimate knowledge of relevant refugee and immigrant communities in Louisville preferred
