Job Skills / Requirements
This position requires a sales professional to originate home mortgage loans through strategic relationships with referral sources, sales calls, helping customers select programs to fit their needs, working collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional customer service, and cross-selling other services. The desired candidate will have 2 or more years experience in the lending or mortgage industry.

· Submits application forms to mortgage loan processor for verification of application information.

· Determines if applicant meets bank standards for further consideration.
· Interviews loan applicants to document income, debt, and credit history.
· Calls applicant or other person(s) to resolve discrepancies.
· Informs applicant of loan denial or acceptance.
· Informs applicant of closing costs, such as appraisal, credit report, and notary fees.
· Answers applicant's questions and asks for signature on information authorization forms.
· Requests income tax returns, bank account numbers, purchase agreements, and property descriptions, and other required documents for verification.
· Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Must be able to pass a background check, credit check, drug test and must not be listed on the limited HUD, FHFA or GSA participate list.
