Job Skills / Requirements

Responsibilities: Our Land Development Construction Manager will manage our Land Development initiatives in our Indianapolis, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio divisions. Responsibilities include: Managing the preparation and approval of construction plans. Managing schedules and budgets for construction plan approvals and development activities. Managing the bidding process, contractor selection and contract execution. Monitoring construction quality control and conformance to design plans and internal standards. Interfaces with governmental officials for required inspections and approvals. Managing cost control, invoice approvals and completing a budget vs. actual comparison.

Qualifications: Strong leadership abilities Great organizational and communication skills to grow with a first-class company. Excellent listening and problem solving skills A strong analytic ability The ability to interact well with others and to successfully balance multiple tasks. Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the use of Microsoft Project are also required. Extremely self-sufficient. Bachelor's Degree preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
