Job Skills / Requirements

Assists other members of the health care team in the delivery of patient care during the intra-operative period. Responsible for turnover of the OR. Will cross train as a backup to scrub technicians. Transporting patients before/after procedures to the OR and other designated areas. Maintains and stocks supplies and instruments.  

Required Education, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• Must have an SRNA license or have 1 year experience in the OR.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Assists with surgical procedures.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
• Ability to perform detailed assignments and work under stress.

Education Requirements (All)

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT

Certification Requirements (All)

SRNA license or 1 year of OR experience
BLS
