Job Summary/Purpose
The IT Support Assistant provides day-to-day technical support across HMH. This role is responsible for assisting with hardware and software troubleshooting, supporting IT systems and network infrastructure, and helping ensure overall IT operations run smoothly. The IT Support Assistant works closely with the IT team and end users to maintain a stable and secure technology environment.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Provide front-line technical support to staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Assist with setup and deployment of computers, phones, printers, and other equipment
- Support system updates, patches, and regular maintenance
- Monitor and report on network performance and security alerts
- Assist with inventory tracking and IT asset management
- Document issues, solutions, and common support procedures
- Respond to user requests via ticketing system or other communications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in IT areas
- Participate in efforts to improve IT security and minimize downtime
- Other duties as assigned by the IT Director or designee

- CompTIA A+
- Some college or technical school
This job reports to the IT Director
This is a Part-Time position 1st Shift, Weekends, 3 days per week, approximately 28 hours/week.
Travel is not required
