Job Skills / Requirements

Job Summary: 
Performs venipuncture duties and various clerical duties including computer order entry/change, filing of laboratory reports, and distribution of completed lab reports to various locations. Cooperates and communicates professionally with the medical and nursing staff. 

Required Education, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• High school education or equivalent.
  • Must provide copy of diploma or transcripts
• Must have either an SRNA license (with no restrictions), CMA, or an approved Phlebotomy certification within 1 year of hire.
• Six months phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Works cooperatively and communicates effectively.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer skills and ability to type.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and work independently.
• Consistently kind and courteous to patients.
• Excellent customer service.

Education Requirements (Any)

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT

Certification Requirements (Any)

SRNA or CMA
Phlebotomy
