Job Skills / Requirements

Job Summary: 

Creates purchase orders on computer as directed by manager and calls or faxes them to vendors. Supplies Receiving Clerk with all necessary documents to receive supplies. Stocks departments daily such as Med/Surg, SCU, ER, OB, Surgery, Recovery Room, and Anesthesia.

Required Education, Skills, and/or Abilities: 

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to input computer data.
  • Performs basic mathematical calculations.
  • Follows oral and written instructions.
  • Requires lifting a minimum of 20 pounds or more.
  • Maintains orderly files.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Tolerates being on feet for long periods of time.
 

 

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
