This position is responsible for collecting, tabulating, analyzing the disribution of determinants of chronic and acute diseases, infectious diseases, public health emergencies and other related data. This position will participate in the planning, development and implementation of a community health assessment initiative using Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) or other planning model. Work involves assisting in devising methods of surveillance, implementation and analysis of epidemiological investigations or studies; in community needs assessment; participating in general data management and report writing for epidemiological studies and investigations within an assigned specified geographic area.
Must have Master's degree in public health, statistics, behavioral/environmental sciences with 1-year of experience. Or, Bachelor's degree in public heath, statistics, behavioral/environmental sciences and 3 years of experience. Experience in statistical research, data management or disease investigation. Related field with training in quantitative methodology, disease investigation, and program evaluation.
Must have a current driver's license.
