This is a full time position, Grade 4, $15.10 per hour, 37.5 hours per week; includes full comprehensive benefits package.
Position currently under compensation salary review.

Under supervision, responsible for assisting and supporting collecting, posting and managing account payments from Environmental Health. Performs processing of invoices, permits, fees, and reporting for local and state EH operations. Maintains databases with payment information for local fees related to food manager certification, food manager registry, and local swimming pool permits. Performs data entry into the Environmental Health Management Information System (EHMIS) for permitted establishments, complaints, and activity tracking for Environmental Health Specialists with billing and reporting of Environmental Health Programs. Responsible for assisting and supporting Finance department in the submittal of reports and payments to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. Responsible for providing back-up phone coverage for the EH office and writing up complaints from clients.
This position requires a High School Diploma/GED required and 18 months business education or training beyond the high school level. Two (2) or more years' experience in cash handling, collections, strong word processing (proficiency priority placed on alphanumeric accuracy and attention to detail) and spreadsheet applications OR an equivalent combination of related training, experience and/or working knowledge of applicable computer software programs such as Custom Data Processing (CDP).
Skills testing may be applicable during the selection process.

HS/GED & 18 months business education or training beyond high school.
