Program Overview: Northcutt Residential Treatment Center's services are grounded in the philosophy of Trauma-Informed Care, an evidence-based practice which has demonstrated positive outcomes for victims of trauma. Using a multi-disciplinary team approach, we wrap services around the child and family to help them heal, and to transition back to home, school, and the community.
The primary focus of this job is to provide quality care by planning menus, ordering supplies, preparing and serving meals according to the registered dieticians approved guidelines and to maintain kitchen and storage areas according to state and local regulations and licensing organizations. The cook that will be responsible for preparing 18 to 21 meals for boys ages of 6 and 12.
Other: Caring and empathetic person who understands the high prevalence of traumatic experiences in persons who receive behavioral health services. Knowledge of children who have experienced complex traumas, mental health and substance abuse issues.
Hours are Sunday - 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m and Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
