Job Skills / Requirements

The School Based Therapist provides quality, effective, and efficient clinical outpatient services to children in grades K-4 with mental health disorders and their families in various Dayton and surrounding area schools. To serve as the primary provider of services for a designated caseload of children and their families.

Other:
Knowledge of and experience with mental health treatment (required) and substance abuse treatment (preferred), knowledge of and experience working with children with behavioral problems.

Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, or related field.
Preferred - Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, or related field.

License/Certification
Minimum - LSW or Registered Candidate, eligible to be registered as a Psychology Assistant
Preferred - LPC/PCC or LISW with CCDC or Registered Candidate status
