Since 1953, Rauch directly serves over 1,000 children, adults, and families from five sites. Service counties in Indiana include Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, Washington, Jefferson, and Jackson.


Job Skills / Requirements

Full-Time

Apply your organizational, computer, and communication skills to increase the efficiency of Rauch’s largest program. The Administrative Assistant supports and assists in the success of the Community Living program that provides residential services to clients with developmental disabilities.

Major responsibilities include:

Supporting the clients severed by paying their bills and assisting in managing their funds

Aiding the clients in applying for aid like housing assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, etc.

Preparation and maintenance of Supported Living’s documents and forms

Keeps records and paperwork up-to-date and assists in reviews and audits

Enter and maintain accurate data relevant to the program

Maintain staff training records and ensure staff are current in training

Provide assistance regarding the programs staffing and volunteer needs

Aid the department director in efforts to develop the program

Minimum Requirements: 

High School Diploma/GED

2-3 years of work experience in Human Services, Accounting, or Computer Science

Driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor, certification, or coursework towards a Bachelor Degree in Human Services, Accounting, or Computer Science
