Job Skills / Requirements
POSITION PREFERENCES & FUNCTIONS:
- Preferred Age: 18+
- Team player with personal commitment to YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character Development Values
- Lead lessons for Beginner and Intermediate Program participants
- Work with Equestrian Program Coordinator to ensure good health and safety for all horses and program participants
- Ensure cleanliness of the barn and surrounding areas
- Complete required paperwork in timely manner
- Work in tandem with other camp staff to create a safe and welcoming experience for all
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, maturity, responsibility, sound judgment, and good decision-making skills
- Be of good character, and in sympathy with the goals and objectives of YMCA Camp Piomingo
- Other duties as assigned
STATUS: Part-time; Non-exempt, Seasonal
STARTING SALARY: $400+/week (DOE)
